A quarterly magazine of urban affairs, published by The Manhattan Institute, online since 1995

City Journal is the nation’s premier urban-policy magazine. It offers a stimulating mix of hard-headed practicality and cutting-edge theory, with articles on everything from school financing, policing strategy, and welfare policy to urban architecture, family policy, and the latest theorizing emanating from the law schools, the charitable foundations, even the schools of public health. Since urban policy encompasses almost all domestic policy questions, as well as the largest issues of our culture and society, the magazine views its canvas as very broad indeed
Demographic Research
Demographic Research is a free, online, peer-reviewed journal of the population sciences published by the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Rostock, Germany. The journal pioneers an expedited review system. Accepted contributions are generally published within one month of final submission. 
DR publish top-quality demographic research and related material from the full range of disciplines that bear on demography, including the social sciences, the life sciences, mathematics and statistics, policy research, and research on the discipline itself.

DISP Journal
DISP is an interdisciplinary scientific journal, which addresses topics in the areas of Urban Development, City and Town Planning, Landscape and Environmental Planning, Landscape Architecture, Regional and Environmental Economics as well as Transportation Planing. It is published quarterly. Normally two DISP issues a year are dedicated to a specific theme (Theme issues). The articles in DISP are chosen using a panel procedure

The United Nations Human Settlements Programme, UN-HABITAT, is the United Nations agency for human settlements. It is mandated by the UN General Assembly to promote socially and environmentally sustainable towns and cities with the goal of providing adequate shelter for all. The main documents outlining the mandate of the organization are the Vancouver Declaration on Human Settlements, Habitat Agenda, Istanbul Declaration on Human Settlements, the Declaration on Cities and Other Human Settlements in the New Millennium, and Resolution 56/206

The Industrial Geographer
The Industrial Geographer is a collaborative effort between the ISU Cunningham Memorial Library and the Department of Geography, Geology, & Anthropology. The IG is affiliated with the AAG Regional Development & Planning Specialty Group and IGU Commission on the Dynamics of Economic Spaces.
Journal of Health and Population in Developing Countries
A semi-annual publication of the Department of Health Policy and Administration, School of Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA.
The Journal of Health and Population in Developing Countries is an interdisciplinary semi-annual journal devoted to policy and management issues in health and population fields in developing countries. This Journal is committed to maintaining a high international standard of scholarship through peer review and editorial actions. It accepts articles based on empirical research, advocacy, personal experiences, analysis, as well as thought-provoking ideas. The Journal of Health and Population in Developing Countries is an interdisciplinary semi-annual journal devoted to policy and management issues in health and population fields in developing countries. Journal of Political Ecology
Three volumes have been published (1994-1998) with 3-5 articles each.  They are all fully available online. Articles can be downloaded  in  PDF, PS, and/or TXT format. The site also has a resource page with links to pages on Anthropology, Political Ecology, and non-profit organizations.
JPE is produced at the Bureau of Applied Research in Anthropology of the University of Arizona. According to the editors, the journal is intended "to fill a gap in the social sciences by bringing together researchers from many disciplines with a common interest in links between political and economic systems, on the one hand, and local populations and ecosystems, on the other."
MEA Discussion Papers
MEA, das Mannheimer Forschungsinstitut Ökonomie und demographischer Wandel (the Mannheim Research Institute for the Economics of Aging), soll vor dem Hintergrund des demographischen Wandels dessen mikro- und makroökonomische Aspekte antizipieren und begleiten helfen. Die mea discussion papers präsentieren Beiträge, die zur Veröffentlichung in Fachzeitschriften vorgesehen und daher vorwiegend an das wissenschaftliche Publikum gerichtet sind.
People and Place
The journal is published four times a year. The most recent issue is not available except for its table of contents, however previous issues are fully accessible online starting with the journal's fourth volume.
People and Place is published by the Australian Forum for Population Studies. It presents information on migration patterns, urban growth, the environment and related topics.
Population Index
Population Index is the primary reference tool to the world's population literature. It presents an annotated bibliography of recently published books, journal articles, working papers, and other materials on population topics. This website provides a searchable and browsable database containing 46,035 abstracts of demographic literature published in Population Index in the period 1986-2000.

URISA Journal
The URISA Journal is a peer-reviewed journal published both in print and online by the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association, a non-profit international association for information technology professionals. The Journal is published quarterly. Online texts back to 1998.
